For today, as some of you maybe reading this over the holiday, Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate. Happy Holidays to those who don’t. The introductory blog will be a repost of my earlier mini review of Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows. I saw the movie on Christmas Eve, which is not too long before I wrote this. I highly enjoyed the experience the movie gave, and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good movie. Enjoy.
I’m back from seeing Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows. Just as the first, very well executed, I tried to find faults about it, but couldn’t really. Pacing is good, sometimes it felt like the first, sometimes new pacing, but all in all it was pretty good. Music is very well done, the comraderie between Holmes and Moriarty is extremely well done. I was impressed, and I felt in awe near the end, *Spoiler…-Spoiler* When Moriarty could pull off the same analytical approach to fighting as Holmes. Then the movie again threw me for a loop, at first when the ending came about. I don’t want to say too much about it, but I’ll say this, they hint at a possibility of change early on, most people won’t realize it until the very end. For me it kind of plagued me like a splinter in the back of my head. “Why did they put that in…” Then at the end, it shows up again. What gave me a nice chuckle was Stephen Fry’s guest appearance in the film. You’ll enjoy him when you see him. I’d say over all, 9/10. Same as the first.
I hope you all enjoyed this brief blog, as it will not be the last.
